Dealing with no Fold ‘Em Hold ‘Em
Sometimes it’s easy to run into a poker table where it seems like a veritable goldmind of money for you, but it turns out that you’re playing with a table of maniacs at the casino online . Go play some freerolls on any poker online site and you’ll see what I mean, but there are times when this happens in real life, in real brick and mortar casinos too. I encountered a man recently, who when I walked up to the table was up about 600 dollars at a 1-2, 100 min buy in table. The whole table was a limptastic table. Calling with any two cards hoping to see a cheap flop. But this one guy, the one who was up he was betting or raising every flop, all the way down to the river usually and won about 75% of is hands without showdowns. No wonder he was doing to well. He was bullying everyone on the table. So I decided to do something about this guy who was ruining everyone else’s casino experience. I bought in for the max 500, and sat, and sat, and sat, and sat and waited for my chance to catch this guy. KK come my way after about an hour at the table. And I limp for the first time in about an hour of folding even playable hands. And the flop comes. KAA. And of course he bets out. And the one other player who came along calls. And I reraise. And he for the first time I can recall just calls. Our other player folds. Hmm. Now I’m thinking. The next card comes 2. Rainbow. I check, He’s all in. Call. He flips up pocket Deuces. Giving him the full house. Aww, that’s too bad. My Full house had been higher the whole time. So I take his money, all of it. And get up and walk away from the table. One hand, one kill. And I leave to applause.
